Moon cake tournament kicks off in Taiwan

Jimmy Shang, board chairperson of the Chinese International Gastronomers Association, declares the opening of the 2010 Mid-Autumn Moon Cake Gambling Tournament at Guandi temple in Kaohsiung in southwest Taiwan, Sept 8, 2010. The 300-year-old custom of moon cake gambling has become a popular entertainment in south Fujian and Taiwan. It's a game of dice played with six dice and a big china bowl. Players roll the dice and receive points.
